Our kennels are attached directly to our home which means we know when they are asking to play or go out. There are 7 kennel spaces which results in a quiet, calm atmosphere. There is also a large indoor play area where larger dogs and those not used to kennels can spend their time. Kennels have large outdoor spaces accessible from the indoor kennels and a large play area where some dogs can visit and play with other dogs.
Thirty acres of fenced in fields are available for off leash walks and there is a large pond for those who like to swim. Play areas are tree shaded and have a view of the back yard and the walking fields.
The owner of the kennel personally plays and walks all dogs and reinforces basic obedience with each dog.
All dogs bring their own food and therefore continue to eat their own diet. We can accommodate all types of diet including Raw. We also can administer medication if required. Special care can be provided for young puppies, who often sleep in our kitchen, and older dogs, who are often given quiet, separate spaces with lots of comfortable blankets.
Dragonluck kennels uses only natural cleaning products and non-chlorine javex to maintain a clean healthy environment. Runs are all gravel and grass and the concrete floors are cushioned with individual beds or blankets supplied by us.
Owners are encouraged to do a pre-stay visit to familiarize themselves with the setting. Toys and blankets brought from home are also encouraged. Dogs used to crates may also bring their own crate to put in the kennel area. Families are encouraged to call anytime to see how the dogs are doing as well.
